This is an Original Design 1:144 Service Tower for Takara "Famous Airplanes of the World" Special item A-9 rocket.

This is an original design item, i.e. none ever existed. But so is the V2 A-9/A-4b. It is designed as if done by engineers in 1946.

This model is made with ABS-L using 3D printing.

The following composite photo shows the relationship of the tower to the A9.

The tower featured a base platform on 8 Sdkfz wheels. 4 hydraulic jacks provides additional support. The tower has two levels, mid level accessing the maintenance hatch at the center of an A9 standing on its launch pad, and top level accessing the pilot's cockpit.

The tower is to be moved by a Panzer III/IV chassis. Hydraulic jacks of the tower raises and lowers the tower back on top of the vehicle chassis. The tower when in place could then be fined tuned with the in built wheels.
